What we did

The existing balcony surface was demolished and the substrate prepared. We then applied the waterproofing membrane in stages, the grey coats in the photos, with each coat left to cure before the next. Our tiler finished the job with new terracotta tiles.

This was our own private project, run at the same time as a rooftop terrace in another Glebe house. Together the two jobs took about four weeks.
